--- ## Description This grant, under Horizon Europe (HORIZON-CL6-2026-01-CIRCBIO-02), seeks to fund projects that develop, demonstrate, and deploy novel recycling technologies for mixed post-consumer textile waste, especially from fibre-blended products (e.g., polycotton, synthetic/natural blends). The goal is to address the significant environmental pressures from textile waste by improving end-of-life management through efficient collection, sorting, fibre-to-fibre recycling, removal of non-textile components, and elimination of persistent chemicals. Projects should also assess recyclability limits, explore alternative applications when further recycling is not possible, and use lifecycle assessment (LCA) and the Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD) approach.
