Description
The Elevance Health Foundation's Patient Safety Prize is an annual competition designed to identify and support innovative, community-driven solutions that significantly enhance patient safety across the United States. The program seeks proven interventions, beyond the research or ideation stage, which address one or more of the following areas: empowering health literacy for safer patient care, innovating to eliminate medication errors, and promoting fall-free futures (fall prevention). Emphasis is placed on scalable solutions with demonstrated impact, particularly for vulnerable or underserved populations. The competition is part of the Foundation’s Community Action Leadership initiative, aiming to catalyze large-scale, positive change in healthcare safety and outcomes.
