Description
The U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Emerging Threats, through its Office of Critical Infrastructure Security, seeks an implementer to help Argentina design, establish, and operationalize a centralized, civilian-led national Cybersecurity Operations Center (SOC). The goal is to improve prevention, detection, analysis, and response to advanced cyber threats targeting Argentine government networks and critical infrastructure, in alignment with trusted U.S. and allied security practices.
The work spans assessments of government networks and data centers; advice on legal authorities and data-sharing; SOC governance and operational design; technical architecture; and workforce training. The cooperative agreement calls for close bureau involvement in work plans and key deliverables. Its emphasis is on advisory support and sustainable Argentine capacity rather than long-term U.S. funding of SOC operations.
