The Affiliate-Requested Research Conversations program, offered by the Mershon Center for International Security Studies at The Ohio State University, provides current faculty and student affiliates with access to space and light resources for organizing small, mission-relevant meetings. The program’s aim is to foster interdisciplinary scholarly exchange and dialogue in the field of international security studies. Affiliates may request use of room 1039 Derby, with the possibility of refreshments and modest tech support, to support collaborative gatherings, brainstorming sessions, or work-in-progress discussions. Requests that bring together multiple affiliates and diverse perspectives are especially encouraged, in line with the Center’s multi-perspectival mission. Non-affiliates are welcome to participate if the event is affiliate-initiated and mission-aligned.
