This federal demonstration program, administered by the Office of Community Services (OCS) within the Administration for Children and Families, funds Community Action Agencies (CAAs) and tribes that received Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) funding and own affordable housing units. The program aims to boost housing stability, economic mobility, and well-being for residents of affordable housing by expanding access to wraparound supportive services. Funded activities may include direct provision or referrals for public welfare, health, education, afterschool and summer programs, early childhood care, older adult services, mental health and addiction services, disability supports, financial literacy, transportation, case management, and more. The goal is to enhance coordination between public and private assistance programs and reduce dependency among low-income populations.
