The African American Community Fund, in partnership with the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio, offers annual grants to support Black-led and Black-serving nonprofit and public organizations throughout the 32 counties of Appalachian Ohio. These grants are designed to strengthen organizations making a positive impact within Black communities, with emphasis on advancing opportunities across five key areas: arts and culture, community and economic development, education, environmental stewardship, and health and human services. The program aims to address disparities, improve quality of life, and create lasting opportunities for African American communities in the region.
