This grant supports research exploring the transformative impact of agentic artificial intelligence on the production, distribution, and consumption of news and information. The Institute for Humane Studies (IHS) seeks projects that investigate emergent news institutions, journalistic innovations, and mechanisms for truth-seeking within evolving information ecosystems. Proposals that bridge disciplines, foster scholarly community, or demonstrate real-world impact are particularly encouraged.
