The Agricultural Research Enhancement, Exploration and Development (AgR-SEED) program, administered by the Alabama Agricultural Experiment Station (AAES), is an internal grant initiative aimed at empowering Auburn University researchers to launch innovative agricultural and forestry research projects. The program provides seed funding to collect critical preliminary data, with the goal of enabling recipients to develop their work into larger, externally funded, nationally competitive proposals. AgR-SEED is designed to foster research that advances Alabama’s agriculture and forestry sectors and improves the quality of life for communities in Alabama and beyond.
