The Agriculture program of the Keith Campbell Foundation for the Environment aims to reduce the impact of agriculture on water quality in the Chesapeake Bay region. The program supports projects that foster collaboration among industrial agriculture, small farmers, community organizations, and government entities, with an emphasis on innovation, advocacy, and industry engagement. Grantees address issues such as manure and fertilizer application, nutrient and sediment loads, and the use of nitrogen and phosphorous, all while maintaining farm viability. The Foundation encourages a cooperative approach to conservation and supports pioneering solutions that can benefit both agriculture and the Bay.
