Description
This funding opportunity supports large-scale, novel, and transformative research projects in the arts and humanities. Teams are expected to deliver world-leading research that significantly advances knowledge, builds capability, and generates sustainable impact across society, culture, and the economy. The scheme emphasizes a team convening approach, requiring collective leadership, inclusive governance, and integration of diverse expertise—including non-academic contributors if appropriate. Projects must demonstrate a pathway to impact and legacy beyond the funded period.
The outline stage is designed to reduce administrative burden; detailed work plans and costings are required only at the full proposal stage. Successful outline applications may be invited to submit a full proposal, where up to five projects may ultimately be funded.
