Description
This program supports small-scale health services research projects that address the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) priorities, including improving healthcare quality, patient safety, healthcare delivery, and whole-person care. Projects may be pilot or feasibility studies, secondary data analyses, development of research methodologies or technologies, or other short-term, well-defined research efforts. The intent is to fund projects that can be completed within two years and within the budget cap, generating preliminary or targeted results to inform larger studies or policy/practice changes. Research is encouraged across all healthcare settings and may involve a range of stakeholders, including patients, clinicians, healthcare organizations, and policymakers.
