Description
This UKRI and ESRC funding opportunity supports innovative research projects that apply artificial intelligence (AI) tools and methods to UKRI's extensive social science data infrastructures. The scheme is invite-only, restricted to those who participated in the June 2026 Manchester sandpit. Projects must utilise at least one of the major ESRC, ADR UK, or Smart Data Research UK data resources, aiming to demonstrate how AI can add analytical value, uncover complex relationships, and enhance research efficiency beyond traditional approaches.
