The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) is forecasting a funding opportunity for the HIV/AIDS Research Centers (ARC) program, including both Developmental Centers (D-ARCs) and full AIDS Research Centers (ARCs). The program aims to advance high-impact, interdisciplinary research across basic, neuro-HIV, behavioral and social, clinical, translational, implementation science, and data science domains related to HIV/AIDS and mental health. Centers are expected to foster scientific collaboration, accelerate innovation, and enhance the dissemination of research findings to stakeholders including implementing agencies and affected communities. Proposals should align with the National HIV/AIDS Strategy, the NIH Office of AIDS Research (OAR) Strategic Plan, and the NIMH Strategic Plan for HIV research. Research teams with experience in building and sustaining collaborations across academia, community partners, government, industry, and scientific networks are encouraged to prepare for this anticipated Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO).
