Faculty Micro Grants from the Havey Institute for Global Health at Northwestern University provide up to $2,500 per year to full-time Northwestern faculty who are currently mentoring medical students in the Area of Scholarly Concentration (AOSC) program. The grant is intended to offer modest support for travel, basic study supplies, software, and other expenses necessary for developing and overseeing global health research projects that actively involve students. Priority is given to projects with the majority of research activity taking place in partner countries. The funding is not meant for long-term research projects or to duplicate existing funding mechanisms.
