This Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) from the Air Force Research Laboratory’s Munitions Directorate solicits innovative research proposals in the field of air-delivered effects. The BAA covers a comprehensive range of topics in munitions science and technology, including but not limited to airframe systems, sensors, autonomy, modeling and simulation, weapon effectiveness, warhead and fuze technology, energetic materials, radar, open systems, cyber survivability, and STEM education outreach. The intent is to fund research that advances the state of the art in air-launched munitions, improves effectiveness, precision, survivability, and integrates new scientific and engineering approaches for the U.S. Air Force and Department of Defense.
