    Description

This Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) from the Air Force Research Laboratory's Munitions Directorate solicits innovative research and technology development proposals supporting Air Dominance capabilities for the U.S. Air Force. The BAA covers a wide range of advanced technology demonstration (6.3) efforts, aiming to mature technology readiness levels from 3 up to 6, and includes both component- and system-level solutions. Research areas span modeling and simulation, aircraft integration, guidance and control, propulsion, warheads, electronics, test and evaluation, hypersonics, and more.

The BAA is open to a broad array of research organizations, universities, non-profits, and industry partners, with no restriction on applicant type. The program encourages submissions from small businesses and allows for multiple white paper submissions across the various research areas.

The BAA operates on a rolling, two-step process: (1) submission of white papers, and (2) invitation-only submission of full proposals following favorable white paper evaluation. Periodic "Calls" may be released for specific topics, each with its own instructions and funding profile.
