    Description

    This program provides scholarships to students enrolled in or planning to enroll in two-year associate degree, diploma, or technical certificate programs at accredited U.S. trade schools or community colleges, specifically for those preparing for careers in the iron and steel industry. Each scholarship includes a $2,600 award for one academic year and is paired with a required paid internship, apprenticeship, or work-based learning experience coordinated through the FAME USA program or another AIST-approved steel industry employer. The goal is to foster hands-on technical skills and industry experience, cultivating the next generation of skilled professionals in steel manufacturing and related fields.
