Albertine New Media is an initiative by the Albertine Foundation, in partnership with the Cultural Services of the French Embassy, UniFrance, the Institut Français, and the CNC. Launched in 2018, the program supports emerging and innovative French creators and producers working with virtual reality (VR), 360 videos, augmented reality (AR), mixed reality (MR/XR), video games, location-based VR, and immersive art projects involving new technologies. The grant facilitates the presentation and screening of these works at major US festivals and programs, enhancing international exchange and visibility for French digital and interactive media creators.
