This opportunity enables U.S. academics and professionals across all disciplines to teach undergraduate or graduate courses, collaborate on staff training and curriculum development, and conduct research at select universities in Benin. Scholars may design and teach courses, mentor students, and assist with program development at institutions such as the University of Abomey-Calavi, African School of Economics, Catholic University of West Africa, or University of Parakou. The award aims to foster academic exchange, promote international understanding, and strengthen U.S.–Benin relations. Fulbright Scholars are also encouraged to engage with the broader community through public talks and mentorship.
