This award supports U.S. scholars, artists, and professionals across all disciplines to teach, conduct research, or undertake professional projects at public or private Honduran higher education institutions, NGOs, or research centers. Activities may include classroom teaching, curriculum development, independent or collaborative research, professional or artistic projects, and public engagement such as lectures and workshops. The program encourages proposals in any field, with particular interest in entrepreneurship, healthcare, STEM, teacher training, cybersecurity, and related areas. Scholars may propose their own host institution and project. The Flex option allows for multiple short-term visits over two years. Engagement with the host community is expected, in addition to primary grant activities.
