    Description

    The Fulbright U.S. Scholar Award for All Disciplines in the Kyrgyz Republic offers U.S. academics, professionals, and artists the opportunity to teach, conduct research, or pursue a combination of both at an institution in Kyrgyzstan. Scholars can design and teach undergraduate or graduate courses, participate in curriculum and faculty development, mentor students, and engage with the local academic and public community through lectures and workshops. The program welcomes projects across all fields, with particular interest in STEM, English-language education, IT, mineral resources, water use, agriculture, engineering, disaster response, energy, health, economic development, and studies of the country’s diverse cultures and history. Scholars are expected to actively engage with both their host institution and the broader community, promoting mutual understanding and strengthening U.S.–Kyrgyz ties.
