The CHAI Pilot Awards, administered by the Robert N. Butler Columbia Aging Center as part of the Columbia Healthy Aging Initiative (CHAI), provide pilot funding to foster innovation in the measurement science of healthy aging. The program seeks proposals that develop or validate novel metrics, survey tools, psychometric assessments, performance tests, biochemical assays, composite indices, or new methods for data or biospecimen collection. The ultimate goal is to enhance cohort studies and deepen understanding of the etiology and progression of healthy aging through improved measurement methodologies.
