The Alliance Visiting Professorships program, coordinated by Columbia University in partnership with École Polytechnique, Sciences Po, and Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University, supports transatlantic faculty exchanges to strengthen institutional ties and promote enduring research and teaching collaborations. Each year, six faculty members (three from Columbia, three from French partner institutions) are selected to spend a semester or several weeks at a partner university, where they teach, deliver public lectures, and build sustainable academic partnerships. The program is open to faculty from all disciplines and is designed to catalyze long-term, cross-disciplinary collaboration between Columbia and leading French universities.
