    Description

    This grant opportunity, administered by the Public Diplomacy Section of the U.S. Embassy in Beirut, funds alumni of U.S. government-funded or sponsored exchange programs to design and implement projects that address local challenges, promote shared U.S.-Lebanon interests, and advance U.S. policy objectives. Eligible projects should celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States (Freedom 250) and align with priorities such as promoting American excellence, defending freedom of speech, supporting anti-corruption, encouraging U.S.-Lebanon economic partnerships, or promoting U.S. exports.

    The program is highly competitive and aims to leverage the experience and skills of exchange alumni to create sustainable, community-focused impact in Lebanon. Since 2011, the Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund (AEIF) has supported nearly 500 alumni-led projects globally.
