Description
This funding opportunity supports the design and implementation of high-impact, alumni-led summits in the Dominican Republic that promote economic freedom, democratic innovation, and hemispheric collaboration, in celebration of the 250th anniversary of the United States (Freedom 250). The program seeks to empower alumni of U.S. Department of State exchange programs to convene leaders from across Latin America and the Caribbean, strengthen partnerships between the U.S., the Dominican Republic, and the region, and foster innovative solutions rooted in U.S. business excellence. Proposed summits should focus on capacity building, cross-border collaboration, and public diplomacy, with an emphasis on creative industries, technology, and entrepreneurship.
