--- ## Description The National Institute on Aging (NIA), part of the National Institutes of Health, intends to issue a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) inviting applications to develop creative and innovative short courses aimed at expanding the skilled workforce in Alzheimer's disease (AD) and AD-related dementias (ADRD) clinical trials. The focus is on training the next generation of clinical trialists in state-of-the-art research skills relevant to AD, frontotemporal dementia (FTD), Lewy body dementia (LBD), vascular contributions to cognitive impairment and dementia (VCID), mixed dementia, and the development of interventions for dementia treatment, prevention, care, and caregiver support. The opportunity will utilize the R25 activity code.
