    Description

    This opportunity supports the management and daily operations of the American Center Kampala, serving as a strategic platform for advancing U.S. priorities in Uganda through public diplomacy, cultural, and educational programming. The selected organization will be responsible for all aspects of facility operations—including management, security, staff supervision, and visitor services—and must create a welcoming, accessible environment. The grantee will also design and implement engaging public programs such as educational workshops, cultural events, English language initiatives, speaker series, and digital outreach, all tailored to local audiences and aligned with U.S. Embassy priorities. The awardee will be expected to build partnerships with local institutions, demonstrate strong resource management, establish monitoring and evaluation systems, and innovate in audience engagement, while closely coordinating with the U.S. Embassy for strategic direction and compliance.
