Description
This opportunity from the U.S. Mission to Belgium aims to commemorate America’s 250th anniversary by funding projects that highlight the strength and benefits of the U.S.-EU relationship. Projects should celebrate U.S. history and innovation among European Union audiences and advance relations and economic growth between the United States and the EU. Priority areas include trade, technological innovation (including AI), energy, critical minerals, and defense. Activities should conclude by December 31, 2026, but are expected to foster connections and collaboration that last beyond the anniversary year. Grantees will work with EU civil society, government, business, and industry leaders to showcase Freedom 250-themed success stories or build people-to-people ties supporting U.S. and joint U.S.-EU initiatives.
