Description
This opportunity, offered by the U.S. Mission to Djibouti’s Public Diplomacy Section, funds projects that strengthen workforce readiness, entrepreneurship, innovation, leadership, and professional skills among Djiboutian youth, students, and emerging professionals. Projects must promote both hard and soft skills—such as digital literacy, STEM, financial literacy, project management, critical thinking, and leadership—while advancing American innovation, educational engagement, and entrepreneurship. All programs should incorporate a clear American element and foster long-term people-to-people ties between the U.S. and Djibouti through workforce development, professional exchange, and economic opportunity.
Competitive proposals will demonstrate how their activities advance public diplomacy priorities, target underserved communities, and deliver measurable outcomes in employability, career readiness, and skills development.
