--- ## Description This program aims to strengthen economic ties between the United States and Jordan by building the capacity of Jordanian entrepreneurs to enter and compete in the U.S. market. The initiative targets 15 Jordan-based startups, primarily in technology and high-impact sectors, providing them with a two-phase investment readiness program: a 10-week training in Jordan followed by a three-week business promotion tour in the United States for five selected finalists. The program leverages the SelectUSA Tech platform to connect Jordanian startups with U.S. investors, accelerators, and business partners, ultimately promoting U.S. economic interests and fostering private-sector growth. --- ## Due Dates - Application deadline: September 1, 2025, 11:59 p.m. Standard Jordan Time --- ## Funding Amount - Total available funding: $500,000 (pending availability of funds) - Award range: $200,000–$500,000 - Number of awards: 1 - Project duration: 10–12 months (anticipated start date: September 30, 2025) --- ## Eligibility - Eligible applicants: - Not-for-profit organizations (including think tanks, educational institutions, and civil society/non-governmental organizations) - Public and private educational institutions - Organizations must be based in the United States or Jordan. - Applicants must have a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) and active SAM.gov registration. - Only one proposal per organization is allowed. - Jordanian organizations must comply with the Government of Jordan’s foreign funding approval process. - Individuals are not eligible. --- ## Application Process - Applications must be submitted **by email only** to [AmmanGrants@state.gov](mailto:AmmanGrants@state.gov). Applications submitted via Grants.gov will not be accepted. - Required application materials: - SF-424, SF-424A, and (if applicable) SF-424B forms (available at [Grants.gov Forms Repository](https://www.grants.gov/forms/forms-repository/sf-424-mandatory-family)) - Proposal (maximum 10 pages) covering objectives, activities, timeline, risk analysis, monitoring & evaluation, and sustainability plan - Budget summary, detailed budget, and budget justification narrative (Excel template recommended) - Key personnel CVs, letters of support from partners, documentation of nonprofit status, and (if applicable) NICRA - All documents must be in English and budgets in U.S. dollars. --- ## Additional Information - Program activities include: - 10-week investment readiness training in Jordan for 15 entrepreneurs - Local pitch competition to select five finalists and five alternates - Three-week business tour in the U.S. for finalists, including attendance at the 2026 SelectUSA Investment Summit (May 3–6, 2026) - Ongoing mentorship and networking with U.S.-based industry experts - Communications campaign to highlight participant experiences and promote U.S.-Jordanian business ties - Budget must cover travel (international and domestic), accommodation, training, materials, and participant support.
