Description
This funding opportunity supports victims of mass violence and terrorism in East Lansing, Michigan, through the Antiterrorism Emergency Assistance Program (AEAP) administered by the Office for Victims of Crime (OVC). The grant is intended to provide supplemental crime victim compensation and/or assistance to jurisdictions that experience incidents so significant in scale that existing resources are insufficient to meet victims' needs. Funding may be used for crisis response, consequence management, criminal justice support, and direct victim compensation. Only entities directly invited by OVC are eligible to apply, and the program is not open for competitive applications.
