Description
This funding opportunity provides support through the Antiterrorism Emergency Assistance Program (AEAP) to entities invited by the Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) to apply. The program is designed to assist victims of mass violence and terrorism by offering supplemental crime victim compensation and assistance when an incident overwhelms local resources. AEAP grants can cover crisis response, consequence management, criminal justice support, and direct victim compensation, and may be combined in a single application. Funds are drawn from the Antiterrorism Emergency Reserve and are intended for incidents that are unpredictable, indiscriminate, or otherwise extraordinary in scope.
