Description
This opportunity is issued by the Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) to support Pennsylvania in responding to victims of mass violence or terrorism. Through the Antiterrorism Emergency Assistance Program (AEAP), funding is provided to supplement existing services and resources for crime victim compensation and assistance. AEAP grants are designed to ensure that jurisdictions affected by large-scale criminal mass violence or terrorism can provide timely and comprehensive services to victims, especially when local resources are insufficient due to the scope or unpredictability of the event. The program may cover crisis response, consequence management, criminal justice support, and crime victim compensation, either separately or in combination.
