Description
This opportunity offers support through the Antiterrorism and Emergency Assistance Program (AEAP), administered by the Office for Victims of Crime (OVC), to provide supplemental victim compensation and assistance following incidents of mass violence or terrorism. The program is designed to help jurisdictions whose resources are insufficient to meet the needs of victims due to the scale or unpredictability of the event. AEAP grants can cover crisis response, consequence management, criminal justice support, and victim compensation, and can be awarded as a single or combined application. This funding is made available from the Antiterrorism Emergency Reserve and is not open to general competition; only entities specifically invited by OVC may apply.
