The AATS Foundation Aortic Training Program is an immersive fellowship designed for early career cardiothoracic surgeons seeking advanced, hands-on training in complex aortic surgery. Hosted at DeltaHealth Hospital in Shanghai, China, under the mentorship of Dr. Li-Zhong Sun, the program provides in-depth exposure to the pathophysiology, diagnosis, and management of thoracic and abdominal aortic diseases. Participants will engage with a multidisciplinary cardiovascular team and gain experience in specialized procedures such as aortic root replacement, arch replacement, frozen elephant trunk, thoracoabdominal aneurysm repair, endovascular repairs, and advanced aortic valve interventions.
