Description
This Horizon Europe call supports projects that accelerate the uptake of AI-powered robotics in manufacturing by developing advanced robotics skills using next-generation AI, including generative AI. The aim is to enable robots to adapt to real-world environments, collaborate with human operators, and be transferable across different industrial sectors, with a particular emphasis on the automotive industry. The funded project will design and implement a comprehensive framework for robotics skills development, including three technical challenges relevant to industry needs, and organize multi-stage competitions to foster innovative, modular, and adaptable robotics solutions. Collaboration with manufacturing companies and dissemination of results to strengthen the European AI, Data, and Robotics ecosystem are key components.
