Summary: Supports postdoctoral or junior faculty researchers studying ADHD or depression in children and adolescents, with emphasis on underserved populations and career development.
The Klingenstein Third Generation Foundation Fellowship Program is designed to nurture early-career scientists—postdoctoral or junior faculty—conducting research on the causes, prevention, and treatment of ADHD or depression in children and adolescents. The program places special emphasis on projects that address the needs of low-income, under-resourced, or minoritized youth populations. Fellows receive funding and mentorship to pursue two-year research projects that will produce tangible benefits for children and families and help position the researcher for future national or federal funding. Institutional and mentor support, strong research design, and a robust training environment are critical selection factors.
