    Description

The APSA Diversity and Inclusion Advancing Research Grants provide funding for political science research that addresses issues affecting underserved communities and underrepresented groups. The program offers two main tracks: one for Early Career Scholars whose research focuses on race, ethnicity and politics, social justice, systemic racism, gender and sexuality, LGBTQ+ politics, and accessibility politics; and another for scholars working in Indigenous Politics, including Indigenous Studies, sovereignty, tribal governance, and Native Studies. All methodological approaches are welcome, and collaborative projects are encouraged. These grants are intended to complement APSA’s existing diversity and inclusion fellowships by providing additional research support for scholars at multiple stages of their careers.
