Description
The North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality’s Division of Water Resources runs the Aquatic Weed Control Program to help manage noxious aquatic weed infestations. It aims to respond to localized outbreaks before they cause lasting economic and environmental harm, and to reduce new introductions through education and public awareness. Projects range from small-scale efforts to work spanning multiple jurisdictions and partners.
