--- ## Description This funding opportunity supports a comprehensive archaeological inventory survey of approximately 1,500 acres at Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument (FLFO), Colorado. The project aims to document cultural resources to current state and federal standards, including GIS mapping, site boundary and feature recording, and evaluation of National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) eligibility. The results will enhance the park’s compliance with the National Historic Preservation Act (Sections 106 and 110), inform land management and fuel reduction planning, and provide updated data for research and interpretive purposes.
