    Description

This residency grant, offered by Women's Studio Workshop (WSW), supports two artists in creating a new, limited edition artist’s book while engaging in arts education with youth through WSW’s Art-in-Education (AIE) program. The residency operates in partnership with the Kingston City School District and emphasizes hands-on learning, artistic development, and meaningful community engagement. Residents spend the first month producing their artist’s book with full access to studio resources, technical support, and production assistance. The latter part of the residency involves teaching printmaking, papermaking, and book arts to students in WSW’s studios, typically for one to two days per week over three to four weeks.
