This grant program from the Arrowhead Regional Arts Council is designed to support individual artists from historically underrepresented communities—including Black, Indigenous, and People of Color; people with disabilities; those aged 65 and older; military veterans; and LGBTQIA2+ individuals—who reside in the Arrowhead Region of Minnesota. Funding is intended to foster artistic growth and amplify diverse voices by supporting projects centered on the creation, performance, exhibition, or publishing of artistic works, as well as professional development opportunities. The ultimate goal is to reduce barriers and increase access to arts experiences for marginalized Minnesotans, ensuring their creative contributions are recognized and celebrated.
