The Artist Equity Grant, offered by the Arrowhead Regional Arts Council (ARAC), provides funding of up to $4,000 to individual artists who are Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC); people with disabilities; people age 65 and older; military veterans; and/or individuals who identify as LGBTQIA2+. The grant aims to amplify underrepresented voices and foster artistic growth through the creation, performance, exhibition, or publishing of artistic works, presenting arts events, participating in non-academic learning opportunities, and offering non-academic arts education opportunities. Projects should have a primary focus on arts or culture-bearing activities and must be accessible, inclusive, and impactful for both the artist and the broader community.
