--- ## Description The Artist Support Grant was launched by the Arab Fund for Arts and Culture (AFAC) as an emergency response to the challenges faced by artists and cultural practitioners across the Arab region, especially those intensified by the COVID-19 pandemic. This grant aims to provide immediate relief to independent artists whose creative practices and incomes have been adversely affected. It is envisioned as a sabbatical grant, supporting the development of new projects under confinement, ongoing research and reflection, adaptation to new mediums or technologies, and the continuation or design phase of upcoming work.
