Scholars may engage in research, professional activities, lectures, seminars, workshops, curriculum development, and mentoring within their field of specialization. The program welcomes projects across a broad range of disciplines—including arts, humanities, education, social sciences, and professional fields—with special emphasis on initiatives such as Indigenous People, Pacific Corals, Tomorrow's Rivers, Cross-Strait Studies, English Education, Public Health, and Arts & Culture. The award aims to advance knowledge, strengthen U.S.-Taiwan academic ties, and promote international understanding.
