Description
The North Dakota NASA Space Grant Consortium runs Affiliate Synergistic and Collaborative Engagements across ND (ASCEND) to promote, develop, and expand NASA-relevant research and projects within North Dakota. Seed grants may support research-based or teaching-based work, including STEM research and STEM education initiatives. Projects must be guided by goals within NASA’s Mission Directorates.
The consortium connects North Dakota faculty, students, and K–12 teachers with NASA-relevant research and education opportunities. ASCEND focuses on developing that work across the state while keeping projects grounded in NASA’s priorities.
