The Asian Community Fund (ACF) at the Boston Foundation is Massachusetts’ first and only philanthropic fund dedicated to activating, convening, and supporting the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community. Established in 2020, ACF aims to galvanize and unite diverse AAPI ethnicities, incubate new partnerships, and build a stronger advocacy voice. The fund addresses challenges such as disparities masked by aggregated data, poverty, and language barriers, and supports organizations through research, advocacy, partnerships, narrative change, and grantmaking.
ACF’s annual grants program invests in AAPI-led and AAPI-serving nonprofits across Massachusetts, prioritizing organizations advancing community leadership, advocacy, small business support, and cultural initiatives. The fund also anchors initiatives like the Asian Business Empowerment Council and the AAPI Arts and Culture Network, expanding resources and visibility for the AAPI community.
