--- ## Description This award recognizes outstanding projects, groups, or individuals who deploy digital technology in innovative ways within the field of archaeology. The Archaeological Institute of America seeks to highlight the transformative impact of digital tools on archaeological excavation, research, teaching, publishing, and public outreach. The award aims to encourage digital scholarship, foster inclusivity, improve access to archaeological data, and set new standards for ethical and effective digital practices. Both individual and collaborative projects are eligible, and nominations are welcomed from anyone, including self-nominations. --- ## Due Dates - Nomination deadline: September 15, 2025 The committee reviews nominations in October, with decisions approved by the AIA Governing Board.
