Description
This grant, administered by the National Education Association’s Collective Bargaining and Member Advocacy Department (CBMA), provides funding to NEA affiliates for the design and implementation of student-centered initiatives via collective bargaining or other advocacy strategies. The aim is to foster transparent bargaining, support students beyond the bargaining table, and strengthen community engagement and social justice activism. Affiliates can use the funds to advocate for improved student learning environments, educator working conditions, and broader community concerns, including campaigns like Bargaining for the Common Good and efforts for safe, equitable schools.
