--- ## Description The Basic Center Program (BCP) provides funding to community-based organizations to deliver temporary, emergency shelter and counseling services to youth under the age of 18 who have run away, are homeless, or are experiencing housing instability. The program aims to ensure the safety and well-being of youth not currently served by the child welfare or juvenile justice systems by supporting short-term shelters (including group homes and host family homes) and related counseling and crisis intervention services.
