--- ## Description This opportunity, part of the #BeActive EU Sport Awards under the Erasmus+ Programme, honors organizations that have made significant contributions to promoting physical activity. The award celebrates initiatives that inspire people of all ages to integrate movement into their daily lives, with a focus on fostering healthier, more active societies across Europe. Activities recognized may occur within educational settings, non-formal learning environments, workplaces, or local communities. The award aims to showcase best practices, encourage replication of successful approaches, and raise visibility for innovative efforts in the field of physical activity. --- ## Due Dates - September 2026 (anticipated/projected full application submission deadline) *All dates are projected based on the annual cycle; check the program page for updates.* --- ## Funding Amount - Total prize budget for all categories: €125,000. - For the Physical Activity category: - Winner: €15,000 - Two finalists: €5,000 each - Prizes are awarded as recognition (not as project grants). --- ## Eligibility - **Eligible applicants:** Legal entities (public or private bodies, including international organizations), established in: - EU Member States (including overseas countries and territories) - Erasmus+ Programme associated non-EU countries (including listed EEA countries and those with association agreements in force by the award date) - **Individuals:** Not eligible for this category (individuals may only apply under the Volunteering category). - **Eligible activities:** Initiatives that have already been implemented with tangible results in promoting physical activity. Ongoing or recurrent activities must show achieved results.
